Shane was super friendly and helpful from the beginning and was always quick to answer any questions I had and accommodate anything I needed. Jeff and Stephen handled my move and were absolute rockstars. They wasted no time getting everything moved, but were still incredibly careful with all of my belongings. I have a really nice Japanese bookshelf that I was especially nervous about moving, and they handled it with the utmost care, which I really appreciated. On top of the move itself, they helped hang my curtains and even got rid of a bunch of stuff I didn’t need anymore. I live on the third floor with no elevator, and they handled everything like it was no big deal! They worked quickly, were friendly the entire time, and made sure I was completely happy with everything before they left. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better moving experience. Shane and his team were extremely professional and punctual. The owner (Shane) stopped by my house the day before to get an inventory and look at some specialty machines that I have. I was concerned about moving them. Shane was very positive and has any and all specialty tools required to move any household items or even large machines. All household items and toolboxes were padded, wrapped, and moved with extreme care. My furniture is very expensive and they padded everything and loaded it all onto the truck with caution. He sent (4) people over who were extremely respectful and hard working. Even in this heat, they all had great attitudes. Upon arrival to the new house, they moved everything in very quickly and even disassembled some items to help the move process. I’m in the military and have moved a lot. This was the best move I’ve had.Shane and his crew quickly moved 2 huge sofas to our 3rd floor living area. Everything was wrapped and protected. No damage. No mess. All others (moving companies) bowed out when learning of the 875 lbs. piece of furniture that had to be moved up a flight of stairs without the benefit of a freight elevator. Our experience with R&S was by far the best experience we've ever had. We hired R&S to pack, load and deliver but there's no job too big or too small for R&S. My husband and I also had Shane’s experienced employees pack up our 3 bedroom home and 2 sheds. My observation/ solution for our next move (definitely with R&S) will be to personally pack the items we feel to be vital. This will ensure we can access them immediately. The packers are fast, careful and efficient, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they isolate unlike items in any given room. The crew was respectful of us personally, of our property and did what they could to grant requests on the fly. They really move quickly, so stay out of their way! The men conduct themselves well, act like decent people and don’t use coarse language. Shane is truly grateful for his clients’ business and wants to make sure they are satisfied with the move. I went into this with low expectations because of what a tedious task moving typically is. My situation started more complex because of having a full storage unit, 5 bedroom house to move and storage deadlines to meet on the week of Thanksgiving 2 weeks after welcoming twin babies. Shane comes as advertised and handles the tough conversations well. There wasn’t an issue we couldn’t resolve or move past. I wasn’t sure what I’d get with the actual movers but I have to give a shoutout to the crew. They were all superstars. Day 1 was packing day, 3 man crew knocked it out in under 5 hours. Day 2 was load and breakdown big stuff, full 12 hour day and day 3 was unload and put big pieces back together. The last 2 days the same crew was with us all day. No exaggeration, the energy was positive with everyone. I thought I’d hear complaints or frustrations. Everyone worked together so well and was really cool. A ton of respect for the ones doing the dirty work with a smile on. We had quite a unique situation in which they had to deal with some things being stored in the garage and others needing to go get set up in rooms. Our truck driver had a few unfortunate things happen along the way, including flat tires and a tough time getting through windy roads to the house. Keith and Thomas had to wait a few hours, didn't get started until 4:30, and were at our house until after 9pm. They were courteous, patient, kind, polite and took great care of our things. ORIGINAL POST: The 4 man crew (Jason, Raheem, Ray and Darique) could not have been nicer. I moved a 3 bedroom house to 1 room in another location, picked up more items at the 2nd location and moved all to storage. All of the men were fine with what needed to go to each location. At the “in-between location” from my house to the storage facility, they set-up my furniture how I asked. If I had one issue, it would be that it took me about 2 weeks to box up everything and it only took these men 5 hours from start to finish!!!! No fair 😀😀😀. I admittedly had a difficult move with some awfully heavy and demanding pieces of furniture (think the girliest king sized bedroom set made of mirrors weighing at least 1200 lbs) and these guys were amazing. It was 92 degrees today and 99.9% humidity, and although it was miserable outside, you wouldn’t have known it by their kind demeanors. He understood our situation moving from overseas and worked with us any way he could. The day of the move, Brandon, Gee and Kevin met us at the storage unit. They were great! Very professional, kind and fun. There is nothing fun about moving, but we were able to joke and have a good time with them and get the job done in a timely manner.
